"Fun site, but my older kid got more out of it"
Exploratorium.edu has some really interesting stuff, but in my experience it worked better for older kids. My 8-year-old lost interest quickly unless I sat with them and explained things, while my older nephew seemed to click with it a lot more. Compared to other kid-friendly science sites we’ve used, this one feels a little less straightforward for younger kids. Not a bad site at all, just kind of depends on the age and patience level.

"Nice views, but not sure it’s worth the price"
My first reaction was that the location is awesome, right by the water with really nice views. But it felt crowded, and I quickly got the sense it was a bit overpriced for what it was...

"The interactive parts were cool and definitely…"
The interactive parts were cool and definitely the highlight for me, but something felt a bit off overall. A few of the exhibits weren’t working, and it got crowded really quickly, which made it harder to enjoy everything. Still an okay visit, just not as smooth as I expected.

"Took my family here and we…"
Took my family here and we had a really good time. The kids didn’t get bored once because there was plenty for them to touch, try, and stay busy with. It’s nice to go somewhere that actually seems to understand kids need more than just standing around looking at stuff. Super easy family day overall...

"Fun family stop with plenty to do"
Went here with my family and assumed right away it might be one of those places where the kids get bored fast, but I was wrong. There was a lot of hands-on stuff instead of just standing around reading signs, so they stayed busy the whole time. A few spots were crowded, and I figured that might slow everything down, but it still ended up being worth it. The staff seemed friendly, and overall it was an easy, fun visit for all of us.

"Easy 5 Stars"
Easy 5 stars from me. I had such a fun time wandering around because there was always something new to check out. They’ve got a great mix of exhibits, some science-y, some artsy, and some just totally weird in the best way. I kept stumbling onto random hands-on stuff to try and never got bored.

"Totally Worth It for Our Family"
We got the family membership it’s already paid for itself after just a couple visits. The whole process was super easy, from signing up to booking our times, and the kids never seem to get bored. It’s also been really nice having a go-to place on rainy weekends.

"Heads Up: Surprisingly Clean"
Just a heads-up for anyone wondering: the bathrooms and floors were really clean when I visited. that stood out to me right away, and I didn’t have any complaints about the cleanliness.

"Fresh Lunch, Nice Break"
Really enjoyed the Exploratorium, and the food was a solid surprise. We had lunch there, fresh, not the usual sad museum snacks. SF pricing, but portions were fair. Clean dining area, nice view, friendly staff. Great little break between exhibits. I’d eat there again.

"Overall it was okay, but some…"
Overall it was okay, but some of the pages just felt really clunky to use. I’m not sure who put those parts together, but it felt like they didn’t really think through how someone would actually navigate them.

"My nephew had a blast"
I took my nephew here and he did not want to leave. There were so many hands-on things around to touch and try, not just a bunch of signs to read. It was a really fun way for him to learn about science without it feeling like school.

"Easy Thursday Visit"
We went on a Thursday afternoon, mostly because I couldn’t deal with big weekend crowds, and it ended up being kind of perfect. There were some kids around, but nothing too wild, and we were able to try most of the exhibits without really waiting. It still felt lively enough to be fun, but not so packed that I got overwhelmed. Really nice visit overall.

"Absolutely worth the ticket price"
The ticket price felt more than fair for how much there is to do. We spent hours inside and still didn’t even get to see everything, which was both exciting and a little heartbreaking because we wanted to keep exploring. It felt like such a great value, especially if you love hands-on activities.

"Super helpful staff and an easy shopping trip"
The staff was really nice and made the whole trip a lot easier than I expected. We weren’t totally sure where a few things were, and instead of just pointing us in a general direction, they actually helped us find them quickly. It saved us from wandering around the store looking confused, which I always appreciate. Nothing overly complicated, just friendly people being helpful and making the shopping experience smooth.

"Easy school trip and a really kind staff"
I booked a school group visit through exploratorium, it was painless. The details about tickets, timing, and where the bus should drop us off were clear, which makes a huge difference when you’re responsible for a group of kids. Check-in went way smoother than I expected too. The kids loved all the hands-on exhibits, and even the quieter students ended up joining in and having fun. The staff were genuinely patient and helpful with our questions, which I really appreciated. When people are kind and respectful in a busy place like that, it makes the whole experience better for everyone. We left tired, but happy. I’d definitely bring another class back.

"Decent, but I probably didn’t need it"
I did learn a few things, so it wasn’t a total waste, but it felt basic overall. After going through it, I kind of wished I had looked for something more in-depth before buying...

"Easy to Find My Way Around"
I used it for a bit and the first thing I noticed was how easy it was to get around. The layout made sense to me quickly, so I didn’t have to waste time figuring out where everything was. Overall, it felt simple and straightforward to use.
